By Savannah, Grade 3
Once upon a time, there was a boy with a shadow that followed hi everywhere. One day, the shadow told him to go on a plane and jump off it. The boy came back to the ground with a parachute. He was in a meadow of fast sheep. "Those sheep like to race." the shadow told the boy. A hunter shot an arrow at one of the sheep. The shadow scared the hunter away. The shadow and the boy became good friends.
The End!

The Bigfoot Alien Strikes
By Marielle, Grade 4
Once, there lived a curious girl with an eye sky blue and it was huge. One day, she was skipping through the light fixture room that the rats and bugs lived. There was a door she never had seen before. She decided to open it but it was locked. So she looked for a key. She looked under a table through the window but then she saw it in her father's apple. She unlocked the door and saw a bigfoot alien with a magic wand investigating a flower. She was so scared, she locked the door and never opened it again.
