All About Spring

What do you hear?  You hear rain.  You hear wind.  Also, you hear birds singing songs in their nest.  What do you see?  I see three friends playing with a jump rope.  What do you smell?  You smell flowers.  What do you feel?  You feel fresh air.  Spring is the best season ever!!!!

March Writing Prompts

Spring is almost here...finally!  The weather's getting warmer, flowers are blooming...and our minds are, too!  So, warm up those typing fingers, open up your mind, and get writing!  As always, here are some suggested writing topics to get you started, but you are welcome to submit ANY original work.

Letter	Write a letter to… -A leprechaun -A woman who has inspired you (past or present, famous or not)
Persuasive	You and a friend found a leprechaun’s pot of gold, and you both want something different.  Persuade your friend to agree with you.    My favorite Dr. Seuss book/character is…    The best season is because…
Personal	Write about a time you felt lucky.   Write about a really windy day.
Imaginative	Imagine that you caught a leprechaun.  What happened?    The wind blew so hard…    I found a four-leaf clover and…    Pick a Dr. Seuss character and write about spending a day with him/her.
